Mitchell Marionettes To Perform.

Mitchell1
Celebrating its 40th year in the U.S. fair industry, this multi-generation, multi-talented family of performers specializes in entertaining families of all ages: The beautiful Mitchell Showboat provides a memorable setting for comedy ventriloquism and fast-paced variety marionette shows as seen on TV and at such venues as Disneyland and Six Flags Magic Mountain.
Also, meet Millie the Monkey, a unique remotely-controlled chimpanzee who has been riding the fairgrounds on her bicycle for 26 years, surprising and fascinating fair-goers of all ages with her almost-live personality. Her wit and charm as well as interactive songs and jokes make her a stand-out attraction for any fair, and the perfect complement to the Mitchell's self-contained Showboat Marionettes® shows. Visit their website for a preview.

Child Identification Program (MdCHIP)
The Maryland Freemasons will bring this fine program to the St. Mary's County Fair. MdCHIP is a part of the National Masonichip network
(www.masonichip.org) sponsored by the Conference of Grand Masters of Masons in North America. All identifying items generated at MdCHIP Events are placed in a pack and given to the parent or guardian to take home for safe keeping. If their child becomes missing, the pack can then be provided to law enforcement to aid in recovery and identification. The Maryland Freemasons keep nothing but the permission form signed by the parent prior to participation in the event. For more information on the Maryland program visit www.mdchip.org
